Poor Hospital WiFi Hindering Patient Recovery

A lack of WiFi available at NHS hospitals could be leading to longer recovery times, it has been claimed.

Data released under the Freedom of Information Act to IT firm Enterasys Networks revealed that nearly two thirds of hospitals were still not offering WiFi to their patients while they were recuperating.

Many patients were instead offered what was described as a "cost prohibitive" outsourced service for accessing the internet, TV and telephone, for which they could be charged more than £10 per day.
